The Teaching Awards are an annual celebation of teaching and learning. You can nominate a school, a team working within a school, teachers, headteachers, teaching assistants and govenors; anyone and everyone can nominate.
The Pope has honoured a leading executive headteacher and TA winner who has seen her vision of a £47m 'learning village' in London's East End become reality.
Catherine Myers, winner of the 2009 Royal Air Force Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School in London, is director and head of the Bishop Challoner Catholic Collegiate School in Tower Hamlets.
